Translation of an Excerpt from Anna Livia Plurabelle’s Final Monologue

چکیده
This is a translation of an excerpt from the last three pages Finnegans Wake (FW 626.30 – 628.16), in which river-character Anna Livia Plurabelle (ALP) presents bitter farewell monologue, motivated by abandonment her family and supposed betrayal mountain-husband Humphrey Chimpden Earwicker (HCE) with cloud-daughter, young Issy. While remembering past, ALP feels old, alone without strength to continue, disintegrating herself world she no longer fits. She, who monologues at same time that sleeps, goes meet father-sea flow closes page work “A way lone loved long the” (no period). However, this absence punctuation provokes circular movement takes reader back initial page, begins word riverrun, lowercase, connects itself incomplete sentence 628. In way, what seemed be end character also book soon becomes restart both. It as if river-woman disappears into sea evaporates reappears on front after raining being vigorously reborn through rival.
